A little sweet treat using up some of the leftover cherry sauce that I have from an earlier jam making session.
Chocolate Cherry Sauce
- 1 cup dark chocolate pieces
- zest of half a lime
- 1/2 cup cherry sauce (can be substituted with cherry conserve)
- 1/2 cup pouring cream
Melt your chocolate over a warm bath on the stove. Keep the stirring to a minimum. Combine in the rest of the ingredients slowly until well mixed.
Serve warm drizzled over your pancakes or even some ice cream. This sauce will keep well in the fridge for a few weeks.
