The Cookbook Guru is Going Independant

After a lot of thought and deliberation The Cookbook Guru is making the big move to be independant of Sharing The Food We Love.  This means it will be able to focus exclusively on the bookclub and allow this blog to continue to be about the food and drink we are exploring everyday in our kitchen.

I’d love it if you followed along with us and checked out the new blog.  If you’re feeling inspired by the book we’d love it if you’d share with us what you create from the monthly selection, January we are looking at Falling Cloudberries by Tessa Kiros.

I’ve also changed the format a little so that you no longer have to use the link icon.  Simply make sure you use a pingback to the new site and to ensure I definately get your contribution paste your post in the comments box to be a part of the monthly round up.  I’m hoping with the new page design that there will be more opportunity to feature people’s contributions and generate more discussion around the books.

I’d love it if you can share this around too to help build The Cookbook Guru Community.

Happy Reading & Happy Cooking

Reblogged it for you today. I made Jansson’s last night and I have to say we were underwhelmed after the joy of the Hasselback potatoes. It was uber rich and creamy which neither of us were excited by. Interesting to make again after so many years and see how my tastes have changed. 🙂

Oh, that’s disappointing. Were the anchovies an issue? Xx

nah actually they weren’t too bad in the scheme of things, just overall the cream for both of us made it very rich, and the dill too for F. Wasn’t bad, just wasn’t as good as I had remembered. 🙂
