Welcome to Sharing the Food We Love

My name is Leah.

Born and bred in Melbourne, Australia, I’ve spent most of my adult life travelling, time living in Sweden and Adelaide and have settled in Brisbane with my little family.

Food is a very big and constant part of my life conversation.  Sharing stories, what ever they may be, over a meal is my idea of a great time and has created many wonderful memories over the years.  I created this blog because I wanted to share my story with other like minded foodies.

Whilst I’ve worked in kitchens and in the hospitality industry in my dark distant past, I’m very much someone who is self-taught and cooks for the love of flavours, textures and just good food. I won’t claim to be professional or to have the best way of doing things, but I like to experiment and expand on idea’s I find. I think of cooking a bit like being an artist its a chance to combine different textures and flavours, to engage all the senses in a way that visual art only touches on a few.
